    Description

    A beautiful handwritten deed from Ipswich, Essex County, Province of Massachusetts Bay, clearly dated March 5, 1760 by which Benjamin and Lydia Caldwell sell land to Isaac Dodge.  Signed by both Benjamin and Lydia, witnessed by William Dodge and Mary Caldwell.  Approximately 12 1/4" x 7 1/2" in size, beautiful condition with the exception of fold lines and one fold weakness  Raised sealing wax seals attest to the authenticity of the signatures of Benjamin and Lydia.
